The TI-5260 PM Rotor Lockup Switch provides an easy and accurate method of applying a lockup voltage to a permanent magnet brushless motor.
Rotor locking is the simple way to test for forward armature direction with a PM brushless motor. Rotor locking is also used in both checking and setting
feedback alignment with PM brushless servo motors.
